Angie Finkel is a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Weight Loss Management at our Creighton Rd. location.
She has lived in the area for her adult life and has worked as a Flight Nurse/Paramedic and EMT/Paramedic educator for most of her professional career.
She chose to pursue the Nurse Practitioner role in an effort to find a complimentary blend of her previous love for autonomous, critically acute care practice in a more controlled, safe environment. Given her background and understanding that most of her emergency encounters could have been prevented, she found that primary care was an area that would allow her to assist in the prevention of illness and injury, grow professionally, and allow her to have the ability to apply advanced skills.
Angie received her Masters of Science in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner, from Auburn University. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP). She has received a Certificate of Advanced Education in Obesity Medicine from the Obesity Medicine Association.
Outside of working, Angie likes to travel, is a foodie at heart and enjoys spending time with her family.
