Dr. Mark Ryan is a physician double-board certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine.
He is originally from Columbus, Ohio, and joined our Woodlands team in July 2013.
He received his BA in Anthropology from the University of Notre Dame and then earned joint MD and MBA degrees from the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.
Dr. Ryan completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center (New York, NY). He was honored as Chief Resident of his residency program. He is currently a faculty member of Florida State University’s College of Medicine.
In his free time, Dr. Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife, Alejandra, and their children as well as running and playing basketball. He supports the organization S.P.I.C.E. (Special People in Catholic Education), which provides funding and educational resources for students with disabilities.
